Website promotion and content creation for a major regional provider.

Goal
Promote the website to the TOP and create unique content for social networks.

Electronic City is one of the largest providers in the Novosibirsk region of Russia. Our cooperation began in 2018, when a client contacted us for a website update.

In March 2018, we started the design process. At the same time, we were working on two websites at once — B2B and B2C. In addition, we immediately started basic website optimization. After its completion in March 2019, we began promoting the website in search engines to achieve high rankings.

The difficulty for promotion was that the website, due to its specifics, did not have full-fledged texts, and the standard approach with large SEO texts was not suitable for this project.

We decided that we would promote the pages by introducing keywords.

Buttons with forms also gave additional keyword occurrences.

FAQ sections were added to the website, which also included new keywords.

At the beginning of the promotion, there were 76 queries in each search engine.

The number of requests was constantly changing throughout the work: the client stopped providing some services or some irrelevant pages were removed from the website.

Also, some requests became informational on the issue, and we refused them.

We periodically analyze semantics and add new queries to the semantic core.

For 2023, the number of queries is 246 in each search engine, taking into account the freezing of some queries and the change in the semantic core.

We received an increase in traffic due to an increase in the semantic core and the share of queries in the TOP 10.

In 2023, some of the website’s queries advanced it to Position Zero on Google.

In 2021, we redistributed the products from the Devices page into new subsections based on the results of the analysis of semantics and competitors from the TOP 10.

Thanks to this decision, positions have grown, and new pages have attracted additional traffic.

We are constantly monitoring updates in search engines, introducing new features, and improving the website and its performance.

We also created and optimized 30 regional subfolders for the Internet service. We plan to further create subfolders for the regions of the Novosibirsk Region.

At the beginning of the promotion, there were 25 queries for each search engine.

There are fewer requests for B2B than for B2C initially.

The reasons for the change in the semantic core, in addition to constant analysis, are the same as on the website for individuals:

  • Adding new services and optimizing pages for them.
  • Freezing or deleting some pages.
  • Information requests for search results.

Now the semantic core rose to 122 queries in search engines Yandex and Google.

We increased traffic by creating new pages and promoting their semantics in the TOP 10.

The second website also achieved Position Zero on Google in 2023.

We immediately optimized the new service pages during the promotion. A Frequently Asked Questions block has been added to the Internet section.

Texts were rewritten for 59 products, and unique texts were written for some products.

The Devices section of this website has also been redesigned. We have added subsections for products.

Thanks to the introduction of Shema.org micro-markup, the snippet of the search results began to display photos, prices, and product availability.

The client came to us for SMM promotion in November 2022.

The main tasks of our SMM department in this project are to manage the client’s VKontakte group and prepare content for other channels (Telegram, email newsletters, landing pages). The client wanted to publish creative content. We worked in the co-creation format:

  • The client provides topics for publications.
  • We choose the format of the post to tell a complex topic in simple language.
  • Write the text.
  • Set the technical specification for the client’s design staff for the creative.
  • We collect and publish the final post.

The situation was unusual for us: there was no time to form a strategy, and we were developing a real-time communication style as an experiment.

One of the VKontakte posts has received more than 64,000 viral hits.

There were interesting related tasks. For example, we searched for voices and came up with greetings from characters for the New Year’s interactive menu (IVR).

We used the Midjourney neural network in the project — got pictures that fit into the visual concept of the brand and brought variety to the feed.

In the process, we were looking for a special tone of voice brand.

Our team wanted to combine the creativity and boldness of the client’s ideas with the basic content tasks. The path was not easy, but we were supported by the client’s commitment and the collaboration of our teams. We received prompt responses to all our questions from the Electronic City staff.

As a result, we were able to find understanding, and the content acquired its uniqueness.

At the moment, the client maintains the account independently.
