Levoberezhny Bank

A website update for a major regional bank.
01.07.2024
Goal
Redesign the website.
Levoberezhny is a Novosibirsk bank with a long history.

We have developed a new bank website in accordance with the updated corporate identity. We have worked through dozens of layouts, drawn more than 100 illustrations in 3D format, and most importantly, created a user friendly design constructor to optimize labor costs for creating new pages.

Our collaboration with the client has been ongoing for over seven years. In 2017, we developed the previous version of the website and then systematically promoted it in search results.

In 2023, the customer developed a new corporate identity, and we faced new challenges.
  • Update the website design in accordance with the new identity and visual trends.
  • Make the design scalable, optimize the work on creating new sections and product pages.
  • Reorganize the elements and sections within the 1C-Bitrix CMS.
  • Optimize the work of the customer’s content managers and developers.
First of all, we analyzed the old website and its structure, and compiled a sitemap.

The redesign task turned out to be very ambitious. The site had several thousand pages. In addition, the bank is constantly launching new products that require new pages. Each of them requires an individual visual design.

To tackle the task, our team implemented a new approach for designers and developed a design constructor in Figma.

We standardized the visuals: drew templates for products, calculators, and feedback forms.
The task allocation was carried out with the vast scale of the project in mind.

Each of the designers worked in their own strictly defined area of responsibility: common page templates, 3D illustrations, icons, calculators, application forms and tabs.

The art director, who supervised the work of other specialists, has full vision and control over the project.

Over 100 3D illustrations were created.

We usually make 3D from scratch, but this time the number of necessary illustrations was too big. To meet the budget of the project, we bought several ready-made 3D packages and redesigned them in accordance with the visual concept of the website.

The process of creating new pages was optimized.
  • We created a set of templates and graphic elements that can be endlessly reused — without ever repeating the page design.
  • We have thought through new logic and redesigned the CMS administrative panel. Now content managers can easily select the necessary blocks for the pages and fill them with new content. A color palette is available for each banner.
  • All pages dedicated to the bank’s products are common in terms of code. This allows for mass application of code changes to all products on the site.
  • The logic of the calculators and feedback forms has been thoroughly developed. This allows to make mass changes to the composition of fields and content without breaking the code in forms and calculators.
  • The «Offices and ATMs» map displays all the bank’s offline locations. We provided the ability to filter locations depending on clients, city, operating mode, etc.
Now new pages do not require a design from scratch or the layout of new blocks.

Everything the client needs is already available in both the design system and the CMS: designers can assemble a layout for a new banking product in minutes, and the content manager will fill in everything using ready-made elements.

Each of these pages will have a new design, and the overall picture of the resource will maintain visual uniformity.

The new website is in line with current web design trends and the new corporate identity of the bank.

The design was developed taking into account the moving elements and the specifics of user behavior when interacting with them.

We have updated the visual component, reorganized the structure and contributed to the efficiency of the customer’s inhouse staff.
