Lukoil

Previously, Lukoil used a third-party foreign service. Over time, it stopped meeting the requirements, and the license was running out. Together with the customer, we decided to do import substitution and develop our own picker, which is even better and more convenient.

An important requirement was the ability to embed the picker on Lukoil websites as a widget.

We plunged headlong into the project:

• Understood the complex structure of the database.
• Researched the target audience.
• Worked through various user scenarios.

The result of the design stage was a detailed technical specification, a well-thought-out and optimized database architecture, prototypes of all the picker screens and the start page.

We started designing — assembled all the layouts for large and small screens, drew icons, and prepared a UI kit for further development of the service.

You can find your car either through the search bar or by classifier (category → brand → model → modification).

The oils are grouped by car components. The oil cards have buttons for online purchase in the online store and for viewing offline points of sale.

When the license for the foreign service ended, we could not leave Lukoil without a picker. We decided to launch the MVP version first in order to do everything on time. It was a full-fledged picker that the customer was able to embed on the website right away.

Lukoil employees can use it to manage all the data:

• equipment catalog (auto);
• product catalog (oils);
• all necessary reference books (specifications, viscosities, etc.);
• differentiation of access rights for administrators;
• logs of all user actions marked by the author and the date.

• Frontend: Vue.js, Tailwind CSS.
• Backend: PHP + Laravel framework, PostgreSQL database.
• Elasticsearch.
• Data encryption.
• Protection against parsing.

We continue to cooperate with Lukoil to support and develop the service.
