Goal
Bring the company’s website into the Top 10 in Yandex and Google.

The client came to us in 2016 with a request for SEO promotion.

However, even a quick audit made it clear that major changes were needed before starting search engine optimization. During the review, we identified several key issues:

  • Uncomfortable navigation through the catalog;
  • Outdated CMS;
  • Non-responsive layout;
  • Obsolete design.

It was obvious that making small fixes would be too expensive and inefficient. A completely new website was needed — but that wasn’t in the client’s plans. At first glance, the situation seemed like a dead end: the outdated Sibsteklo website didn’t meet modern search engine requirements.

The best solution turned out to be a ready-made 1C-Bitrix template. This allowed us to stay within budget and launch a new site in just three weeks.

Basic optimization was carried out in parallel with development. We preserved existing search positions during the transition: all content was carefully migrated, and redirects were set up.

Temporarily launched contextual advertising.

SEO takes time — at least 1–2 months. We couldn’t allow the client’s business to sit idle during this period, so we used ads in Yandex and Google as an interim source of leads.

Once SEO began to deliver results, the ads were turned off. Continuing the campaigns would have been beneficial, but at that point, cost-saving was a higher priority.
